Dave, Richard, Bob and Andrew met at Dave's house today and tried out the new umbilical cord release mechanism. It worked great, although it's a little sloppy in the sense that the umbilical cables are so heavy they practically pull out the connector.

To do
- Dave is going to replace the 2x4 with a hollow square metal tube with holes cut into it to help protect the umbilical cable.
The umbilical cable needs to be wrapped in something "temporarily" fire proof, like spiral-wound 1" kapton tape or some kind of high-temp heat shrink tubing.
